OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Representations seeking notional increment and revision of consequential pensionary benefits -reg.
The undersigned is directed to refer to your emails dated 20.08.2022, 30.08.2022, 07.09.2022, 12.09.2022 and 09.11.2022 regarding the grant of notional increment to the officials retired on 30th June after completing one year of service.
2. In the wake of recent orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in cases involving claims for grant of notional increment on 1st July/1st January to the Central Government employees having their date of retirement on 30th June/31st December respectively, the subject matter is under examination, in consultation with the nodal Ministries/Departments concerned.

Is it merely a hope for an early orders by the DoPT for allowing notional increment or a lollypop for continued waiting? Only the hon,ble PM knows.
Sine the final verdict from Supreme Court has come on 15 December 2022 in favour of employees after care fully person all the Past court cases on this issue,Govt has no escape as evident from their recent OM as show above.Enough drama has been played the pension department but now it is end of it as it appears.
@Vijai Singh: so the decision has already been made or still in queue?, I searched on web but no luck in accordance of this decision, could you please share if any such link, where we can see the final verdict.
I retired on 30 June 2022. My annual increment way due on 01July 2022 .Whether I have to approach the court to get Notional increment?
