Subject: Observance of Communal Harmony Campaign Week from 19th to 25th November, 2020 and the Flag Day on 25th Nov, 2020 (Wednesday).
National Foundation for Communal Harmony is observing the “Communal Harmony Campaign and Fund Raising Week from November 19th to 25th November 2020 and the Flag Day on 25th November, 2020 (Webnesday).
2. In this connection, it is intimated that the National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) was set-up in 1992 as an autonomous Organization under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 with the main objective of promoting Communal Harmony and National Integration. The foundation is also raising funds during the Communal Harmony Campaign Week to provide financial assistance for rehabilitation of those children rendered orphan or destitute in communal, caste, ethnic or terrorist violence.
3. Selected Volunteers will go around the office on 25th November, 2020 for distributing of Flags & Collection of donations. All the officers / staff members are requested to contribute generously (on voluntary basis) to the cause of Communal Harmony and National Integration and for raising substantial funds to help the target groups and in particular the destitute children. All the donations to the foundation are eligible for 100% deduction under Section 80-G (2) (lii(e)) of IT Act, 1961.
4. The funds collected will be remitted to “The Secretary, National Foundation for Communal Harmony, C-Wing, 9th Floor, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi – 110 003” through Demand Draft.
5. Communal Harmony Campaign Week & Flag Day 2020 may be observed as per the prescribed guidelines issueded by Government of India from time to time regarding precautions to be taken relating to COVID-19 pandemic.
