Dear Sir,
Sub: Extension of validity of the year-ending Privilege/Complimentary Passes and PTOs
As you are aware that the second wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic has compelled most of the States/Union Territories to clamp lockdown, thus forcing cancellation of many trainsdue to poor traffic. Many States/ Union Territories are also curbing movement of the people into/out of their respective states,forcing cancelation of the journey.
In the above scenario,Privilege/Complementary Pass and PTO holders are compelled to cancel their journeys too. AIRF, therefore, requests for extension of validity of the year-ending Privilege/ Complimentary Passes and PTOs, at least up to 31.10.2021, so as to enable them to use their Privilege/Complimentary Passes and PTOs in Festival Season(Dussehra/Deepawali).
An early action in the matter shall be highly appreciated.
