Sub: Retention of Railway accommodation at previous place of posting by Railway officers/staff on their deputation to National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited(NHSRCL).
Attention is invited to letters of even number dated 04.9.2017 and 01.01.2021 conveying the decisions of Full Board regarding retention of Railway accommodation by Railway officers/staff on deputation to NHSRCL. Permission to retain Railway accommodation is available upto 11.2.2023.
2. Now, on consideration of a request received from NHSRCL and in exercise of the powers vested with the full Board to make reasonable relaxations in public interest for a class/group of employees in all or any of the provisions regarding house allotment/retention, the Full Board have decided that Railway officers/staff on deputation to NHSRCL and occupying Railway accommodation may retain railway accommodation fora further period of 02 years i.e. upto 11.2.2025 subject to the condition that NHSRCL would provide leased accommodation to the officers of concerned Railways, for all houses retained by it (NHSRCL), as per the officer’s choice according to Railway priority list, at the rate of lease entitlement of corresponding grade of officers of NHSRCL. Moreover, it is imperative that NHSRCL expedites development of Housing facility for their employees as there is already acute shortage of Railway accommodation in Delhi/NCR.
